Coffee and Computers

My computer has died......my sister was using it last!!!! So let's blame her! Of course the gorgeous Mr IT that I am married to is away for the week and from a past experience we don't play help desk and customer....it can get really nasty! But that is OK - I can use the old trojan computer that we let the kids ruin. I just can't put any pics up.

I have given up coffee....as of yesterday lunch time! If I can't sleep properly again tonight, then i am going back on it! This is hard for me to do - I LOVE my coffee, however I think it doesn't love me back and so the relationship needs to take a break! My family might decide that I have become even more grumpy and might administer it intravenously without me knowing.

I am ahead on the Christmas shopping front - to the point I have even held some things back that I bought the kids and they can get them as birthday presents - I don't like tospoil them too much!!

Spent a wonderful weekend with my sister in Sydney - well we met in Sydney. She flew down from Townsville and then we came to Canberra together. We stayed at a real fancy pants hotel and tried to look the part...which we did. For those interested in cricket (which I am not at all) - the Black Caps were staying there too. I could be come interested in the game again after the brief encounter in the lift with a gorgeous man who asked us where the "Jum" was. Thankfully Tanya, who is about to embark on a trip to the land of the long white cloud, sent him in the direction of the health club, while I was still trying to work out what he wanted!! And I thought I was good at accents!

I don't mind a bit of cricket and from what I've seen the Kiwi team are, on the whole, better looking than the Aussie team!
Go Kiwis!!!

Well done on the Xmas shopping - I am still trying to figure out what to get my sister (what is it with sisters? lol) and the rest of her family...

Hope you and yours have a wonderful Christmas break

You knew what she did with her camera, why oh why did you trust her with a computer????

If you're ahead on Christmas then I may outsource a few jobs to you. What are you like at cleaning a pantry?

He he he! Lucky that cute guy didn't ask you where he could get a 'six-pack', or you would have slapped him!!

I'm sorry to hear about the computer hassles.

BTW, re your comment on my blog, I don't actually drink cider... I was trying to think of a Christmas-y drink! In reality, for Christmas drinkies I would love some Grant Burge champagne.... YUM YUM YUM!
