The annual book covering challenge has occurred and I think I covered more than 50 books. These Queenslanders still like to use the little excercise books.....using A4 size would halve the books required!! With some coloured paper and a packet of pre-cut shapes I let the kids personalise their books and then I covered them with contact. Behold the talents of my darlings!
Now that we are living in a subtropical climate - the house attire of my husband needed some attention. His current choice of clothing was undies!! Yep - just undies and the occassional t-shirt. Behold......the Manskirt!! A tube made with Voille that he loves!! It is now safe to have him answer the door.

I'm so glad we didn't visit sooner!!!
Oh boy, 50 books covered in Contact. That's quite an achievement, so are the arty covers.
New couch was a surprise.....no-one is supposed to actually sleep on it, are they? Sunglasses at the ready. It's actually very pretty really.
Woot! Love those man-skirts! He actually looks kinda cool .... a bit celebrity-cool.
The kids books look so cute. Did you know if you are a slacker mother like me, you can now buy plastic sleeves, which just slide on like book-covers? - for both small and tall exercise books. They have revolutionalised (is that a word?) my life ... no more contact-ing!!
Have a great Friday and a very happy weekend.
Manskirt, hey? I may need some myself. Don't knock on my door too early in the morning...
OH OH OH! My word verification is undys. This is the best comment box EVER!
BTW, red doesn't work on purple either.
ahhh the manskirt. I wonder if it will catch on ? Skipper does the undie/t shirt thing also, sigh.
OMG, I'm so slow - you're in my part of the world!! Hope you guys are settling in well :)
Love that man skirt - fabulous idea!
We too have been through the contact covering marathon. I like your idea of personalising with cut-out shapes. Next year I'm going to do that as well :)
Love the manskirt - manly yet cool looking.
How very David Beckham of him! I love the book covers, very artistic.
