Back again.

We have just returned from a wonderful 6 days camping down at Eden. It was the first time camping for my in-laws and thankfully they enjoyed the whole experience - despite all the weathers we had!! With two other families we managed to secure a large space at a much less populated camp ground where you are still permitted to collect wood and have fires. Needless to say the kids had a dessert of toasted (charred) marshmallows almost every night!

The kids thought it would be fun to play hairdressers with Paa. If you look at the shadow in the chair you can see what I was doing!

Thank you all, for your New Year wishes and approval of my resolution. Seems to be working OK - camping certainly leaves lots of time for kissing the family! Of course camping also highlights the fact we can live perfectly well and happily without so many of the things left at home. I always feel a renewed energy to declutter on a major scale when I return!

Has Paa's hair returned to normal, or did he have to go short, short, short like Marcel?

That holiday looks glorious. I had the de-cluttering bug myself last week as we hired a skip and threw out a whole lot of useless, broken old stuff. It was truly liberating :-)

Luca looks like the full-on surfer dude. Love that picture of him and Kurt.

Glad you all had a fun time.

I haven't been brave enough to take the kids camping yet. For some reason it seems like and dirty, stressful, chaotic thing to do with small children. But lots of people and bloggers (who are people as well!) have done it so maybe I should. Is it good fun?
