Tooth Fairy Issues!!

I have written here about the problems the tooth fairy has in this house - like remembering to get the teeth!! And when she finally remembers - she takes the wrong teeth!! Well now it would seem there are some other issues that the tooth fairy is going to face!! Firstly, isn't the job of the tooth fairy just to take the tooth, leave a little money and fly away?? !! Have i missed something in the "How to be a great Mother in 670,000,333,444 steps" ?? Shay had a little friend from school over this afternoon who actually could be her twin sister - from behind!! Really they are that similar. Anyway on the walk home from school the little friend was chatting about losing her first tooth - "...and the tooth fairy took my tooth and changed the water magically to red and it had sparkles in it and she left me $5.00 in a little special pillow next to it." Shay who is yet to lose a tooth said very quickly "I want her Tooth Fairy not the one that comes to our house!" Even i had to admit that we have a pretty crap tooth fairy in comparison!!

Your tooth fairy must be a descendant of the one that came to our house when you were little. I'm sure you'd agree on that. No, on second thoughts, she was even meaner, wasn't she?

Oh goodness... don't let my kids find out about the other one or I'll be in trouble too!

Good Lord - our Tooth Fairy just leaves $2 and sometimes forgets to come.

It's like those birthday parties with miniature farms or giant jumping castles. Just setting the bar way too high.

that tooth fairy has way to much bloody time on her hands or dust or what ever.

Heck, inflation has reached Tooth Fairy land in a big way!

That's a perfect example of why we shouldn't allow our children to socialise with other kids. They learn too darn much!!

Ah, BUT it is good that you have introduced the idea of multiple Tooth Fairies, because you can blame any future shortcomings on the fact that your family obviously got assigned with a dud.

I love that the other Mum went to all that effort though with sparkly water and stuff. Go her.

My family must have been assigned a dud. I got 40c for my first tooth, which was wrenched from my mouth by my dentist when I was 5. That was a gap I had for nearly a year I think. Should have least received $1 for that!
