Brave Little Girl

So very few tears from this little girl after:
~ a fall from the playground at school
~strange kids taking her to the office
~Grandma & Grandpa having to come to school - I was in a lecture & phone was on silent.
~Ambulance ride
~X-Rays
~waiting!!
~Temporary cast
~Sleepless night
~8am -7pm in hospital next day!!...waiting!!
~no food for nearly 24 hours
~General anesthetic
~Groggy recovery
~New heavy cast!

She is such an amazing little trooper!

She certainly is an amazing little trooper and we're all so very proud of her.

We're proud of her Mum too, coping with all the frustration of endless hours of waiting and worrying.

Zoe and Luca were fantastic too in the way they took it all in their stride without fussing or fretting, and also helping Shay in any way that she needed.

You have a wonderful family, Michelle and Marcel, and we love you all.

Oops! If sling still required email me your address (I've forgotten it!) and I'll send Shay the luxury, comfy version (which also makes access for cast writing much easier). Keep wiggling those fingers! Love Rells (narelle.cox@gmail.com)

A brave little girl indeed! Grandma told me all about her :)
Tell Shay I can empathize with her as we're both wearing slings! I don't have a cast though, so she's one up on me.
Mine is a fracture at the top of the femur. Where is Shay's break?
Hope she gets better fast.
xoxoxoxo (for Shay)

What a trauma for you all. She's a tough cookie indeed.

I hope Shay's comfortable now, and that your stress levels have dropped back to nice & low for Easter.

Thinking of you Shelly!

Give her a hug and a kiss for me. I'm so proud of her. I'm sure I can't imagine a tougher kid.
