I didn't make this cake this weekend - though have made it on quite a few weekends and it is called Himmels Torte (Heaven Cake) and it is!!! If we beat the birds to our strawberries then I will make it a few more times. This weekend did involve making a large amount of Satays with a fabulous Peanut sauce - all eaten before a camera could get anywhere near them.Today I have been going through all the wardrobes and 6 full garbage bags and a strained back (must have been from lifting the draws out) I am feeling quite pleased with myself. Although I am tossing up whether to go through the bags and choose clothes to cut and and sew things because the fabric is nice etc ......but I think the best place really is the op shop!
Oh and what do you think of my new Finkli? Traditional Swiss slippers that hubby brought back from his recent trip back home. I love them.
