Still going to be a teacher!!

Well I have just finished a week of "professional experience" at a really wonderful school. I spent the week with a wonderful grade 3/4 class and their really fantastic teacher. He really was inspiring and had so many wonderful tips. They were a diverse bunch of kids and truthfully there was not one that I really didn't like... There is usually one in every class ( I have them in my Uni classes!!). Mind you after 5 days I am completely shattered and have really missed being with my own kids. They are so lucky to have such a wonderful Grandma. Next week I will be with different teachers and so will get a feel of the other grades. So I haven't been put off by the profession yet, just have more respect for it and despite the 3 big assignments I have due very soon I will continue with the course!!

You commenced your 'teaching' career nearly six years ago, evident in three lovely children.

We have loved sharing the week with your delightful children, and look forward to doing the same next week.

thats great. I have such a huge respect for teachers now that my daughter is in kindergarten. I help out for an hour a week in art class and it is amazing how wonderful the teacher is - she has love for and respect for the kids while keeping them under control. I once thought about being a teacher, but I am not sure I have such patience. what school are you at?
